    How does Dr. Luce try to determine Callie's gender? Does this seem logical to you?

    Dr. Luce is working under the theory that genetics aren't particularly relevant to gender and that it's more important which gender a person receives socialization in. He assesses her personality, presentation, and body chemistry in his attempt to assign her a prefered gender.
