The Twitter of the Mockingjay

Objective:

Students will be able to explore the perspectives of the novel's characters

Common Core Standards:

CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RL.8.3, CCSS.ELA-Literacy.W.8.6

Structure:

Ask students to list the characters they have met so far in Mockingjay. Make a list on the board, including brief descriptions of their personalities. Ask students to shorten and refine these descriptions, until they contain few enough words to compose a tweet.
