Show how the theme of struggle is brought out in My Sister’s Keeper.
Struggle is central to the portrayal of events in the work and in particular, the struggle with illness. For instance, Kate is struggling with an illness. Also, Campbell Alexander is suffering from epilepsy. Even he tries hard to hide his illness from his family and even girlfriend. However, even though he sacrifices his love she ends up finding up about the illness. In this line, the theme of struggle particularly with illnesses is brought out.

Explore the suitability of the title My Sister’s Keeper
In this novel, Kate Fitzgerald has deteriorating health and her parents decide to have another sibling as a savior to aid in donating cells as well as organs, Anna is thus born. Anna is born tasked with the responsibility of saving her sister’s life by donating blood cells to treat her leukemia and donate organs such as a kidney. In this way, Anna becomes her sister’s savior and the title is thus an allusion to this fact.
