RBG, abbreviated for Ruth Bader Ginsburg, is a 2018 documentary film based on the titular character, Ginsburg who was the second female Supreme Court of the United States Associate Justice. The film was produced by Betsy West and produced by CNN. The documentary was released in the US on May 4, 2018.

The storyline covers key points of Ginsburg’s life, from childhood to adulthood. She was most well known for her rulings regarding women’s rights, and has successfully advocated for women’s housing and abortion rights. She was also the main figure in the 1996 United States v. Virginia case which allowed entry of female cadets into the previously all-male Virginia Military Institute. The film also follows Ginsburg in her daily life with interactions and interviews from her family members shared.

Overall, RBG is widely considered to be a well-crafted and inspiring documentary that offers a detailed and nuanced look at the life and career of an important and influential figure in American history. The film was very positively received and currently holds a approval rating of 95% on Rotten Tomatoes. A. O.
