How are Daisy's and Berenger's views of the rhinoceroses similar? How are they different?
Daisy and Berenger both view the rhinoceroses as dangerous and destructive. However, Berenger views the rhinoceroses as dangerous, aberrant, and uncivilized, while Daisy is starting to believe that it is she and Berenger, and any others who want to remain human, who are aberrant. She believes that she and Berenger should learn to be more like the rhinoceroses, that they will be happier and live more easily that way. This is exemplified in the conflict where Berenger hears the rhinoceroses as roaring and Daisy hears them as singing.
