Charlotte Heywood
Charlotte Heywood is the oldest daughter in her house. She lived in Willingden, Sussex before she moved to Sanditon together with a couple that slept over in their house after an accident. She has a romantic relationship with Sidney Parker, as he is young and handsome. In her journey in the book, she learns more about the world around her and how perception can go against reality.
Thomas Parker
Thomas Parker, also known as Mr. Parker, is married to Mrs. Parker. They are the couple that initially invites Charlotte Heywood to Sanditon after he suffers an injury to his foot when his carriage crashes. He is the son of a father with five children, namely Susan, Sidney, Diana and Arthur Parker.
Mr. Heywood
Mr. Heywood is the father of Charlotte Heywood and is married to Mrs. Heywood. He lives on a farm together with his family, where he grows hay. He is quite well off and has enough money for the entire family to stay happy and comfortable. When the Parkers crash outside their farm, Mr. Heywood lets his daughter accompany them back to their city.
