Objective:

In this activity, students will write an additional scene for “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” that recreates the stylistic and thematic components of the story.

Structure:

Part 1: 10 minutes

Students should skim the text to find a period of time that is skipped over during the story—a span of several years in which no specific events are detailed but in which Benjamin is presumably interacting with others.
