Donnelly
Donnelly has just lost his wife. He boards a train home, and while traveling he encounters a loud-mouthed kid and a couple who lost their son the night before. He is taking the loss of his wife hard, and when presented with a way out through the Kid he takes it.
Kid
The Kid is aboard Donnelly's train and he's got a loud mouth from the get go. He picks on a couple who just lost their son and pushes the woman to jump off the train. We learn that he shot his mother the previous night and that the cops are after him.
Man
The Man is aboard the train with his wife after the loss of their son. He must endure his wife's suicide as she jumps off the train.
Woman
The Woman is married to the man, and they've lost their son. She is grieving; when picked on by the Kid she goes into a state of grief that she doesn't want to return from.
