Objective:

Students will research the clothing worn by people in 1950s rural America.

Structure:

For this activity, students will research the fashion trends in rural America in the 1950s, when Something Wicked takes place. Groups should also prepare a bibliography that details their sources.

Divide students into groups of about four or five each. Groups will be given time to research these fashion trends however they see fit.

When the instructor feels students have had sufficient time to prepare their reports, bring the entire class together. Each group will present their findings to the rest of the class....
