The Chapter 1 Test is on pp. 95-96. A great way to use it is to pre-test yourself before the exam, and to time yourself while doing so. The Test Prep Videos will help you hone in on areas that students have trouble with. If you have MathXL or MyMathLab, one great way to use it would be to revisit the concepts that you get wrong on the test. The test is meant to mimic what an actual test would be like, so use this section as a tool to see where you are at and address issues quickly.

See pp 95-96 and think about how you might maximize this section. Another idea would be to take this test first, before reading the chapter, and then again at the end of the chapter to see how much you've learned! Note that any other way you might find this section of the book useful is a perfectly valid response, too!
