The radius and the ulna are the two (long) bones of the forearm. In the anatomical position, the radius is on the thumb side of the forearm, and ulna is on the opposite side --if the forearm is not pronated. At the elbow joint the radius articulates with the bulb of capitulum and the radial fossa of the humerus.
