Answer

Structure of the products resulting from the oxidation of the given alcohols is as follows (see figure).

Work Step by Step

Look at the below figure. Here, we can see that primary alcohol is oxidized into carboxylic acid where $-CH_{2}OH$ group of primary alcohol converts to $-COOH$ group. For secondary alcohol the final product is a ketone when oxidized. Here, $-CH(OH)$ group present in secondary alcohol converts to $-CO-$ group. Tertiary alcohols do not participate in this type of oxidation. a) Draw the structure, Here, we see that $-CH_{2}OH$ present which is converted into $-COOH$ after oxidation. b) $-CH(OH)$ group present in the reactant. So, the final product is a ketone after oxidation. c) no reaction as this is a tertiary alcohol. d) $-CH_{2}OH$ present which is converted into $-COOH$ after oxidation. e) $-CH(OH)$ group present which is converted into $-CO-$ group after oxidation. f) $-CH(OH)$ group and $-CH_{2}OH$ both groups are present in the compound which can be converted into $-CO-$ and $-COOH$ groups respectively.
