Newton second law : the rate of change of the objects velocity ,that is the objects acceleration is proportional to the net force acting on it and inversely proportional to its mass ,THAT is ΣF= ma According to newton's second law ΣF= ma As we see the car is moving with constant velocity. Then the net force on the car is ZERO.
