    Apart from humans, the world of The Aeneid is populated with a variety of other beings, including gods, spirits, and monsters. How do these supernatural beings interact with human beings, and why?

    The best answers will focus on the intervention of spirits, gods, and other supernatural forces in the affairs of human beings. This is something that somewhat distinguishes the world of Greco-Roman myth from the Christian worldview of later centuries. Students would also do well to note here how "human" the gods are with regard to their emotions, characters, and conduct.
