The Foot Book Characters

The Foot Book Character List

Narrator

The narrator is not specified by name nor gender and is simply a source of instruction. The narrator points out the different actions of feet and the different types of feet that one “meets” throughout their lives.

Feet

Though the feet are described for their function of walking, they also take on much bigger meaning in this story. The different types of feet, “Black feet, Red Feet, Small Feet, Big Feet” are all a reference to the diversity of people one will meet and engage with in their lives. So the feet represent different kinds of individuals.
