Structure:

In Scene 1, Williams describes the narrator as "an undisguised convention of the play." In this activity, students will consider what the role of the narrator is throughout the play, with an emphasis on the final scene, and will look at examples of narrators in film to consider how the use of this device might change depending on the medium, plot, characters, etc.
