Objective:

To understand how nostalgia and point of view can affect a story.

Structure:

Each student should write about his or her own odyssey--a journey he or she took or is currently on. Instruct them to write the story with themselves as hero, to embellish as needed and to skew every incident to make it clear that they themselves saved the day.
