Objective:

Students use various sources to research the many and various invasions of ancient Britain. They find or create art to illustrate the invaders on a timeline they create.

Common Core Standards:

CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RL.9-10.7

Structure:

Have students research the numerous invasions of Britain that took place up to and including that of William the Conqueror in 1066. These include invasions by the Romans, Saxons, Angles, Jutes, Celts, Vikings, etc.
