Is artificial intelligence a mockery of God?

Believers of God are justified to conclude that Winterson's novel ridicules the supreme being because the book defies religious beliefs about creation. Religious people believe that God created all human beings, and any attempt to configure the creation story is a sin. However, science defies this belief and argues that human beings evolved from apes. Similarly, the novel 'The Stone Gods’ by Winterson presents artificial human beings evolving from robots. For instance, Spike is an artificial human being with a human body. The author gives artificial human beings the ability to do things like ordinary people.

Under normal circumstances, love triumphs in a conducive environment that allows the partners to have a good time without restrictions. However, the novel presents Planet Blue, where love between classes is outlawed and indictable. Any individual found having a relationship between species is sentenced to death. For instance, artificially modified beings are prohibited from having a relationship with human beings. However, Spike, an artificially modified woman, and Billie, a human, defies death's harsh penalty and forms a love relationship. The reader can see that Spike and Billie are playing with a hot pan, but they are determined to love each other. Consequently, the author shows that love has no boundaries and it can conquer all obstacles.
