Go to Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's Facebook page and watch the video she posted on June 10, 2020 in which she reads from Americanah. Consider the following questions: What kind of tone does she use? What kinds of things is her character concerned about? What differences go you notice between Americanah and the stories in The Thing Around Your Neck?
