    Students will analyze characters from the point of view of another character

    Structure:

    In this activity, students will be analyzing different characters from the novel. To begin, create a list of all major characters in the novel as a class (Kenny, Byron, Joey, Wilona, Daniel, Rufus, Grandma Sands, and Larry Dunn may be used as needed). Once the master list is created, briefly review adjectives, coming up with a definition as a class. Adjectives are words that describe or modify another person or thing in the sentence.
