Waterless Flood

The term that the Gardener's used to describe the disaster that would lead to the end of humanity as we know it. It is also a biblical reference to the story of Noah's Ark. The God's Gardeners see themselves as Noah, and believe they will be the ones to survive the Waterless flood and save the earth. The sickness that wipes out the Earth's population is the modern day version of the flood.

Blysspluss

The pill that Crake creates that leads to the death of human life on earth. Advertised as a miracle sex pill, the Blysspluss pill prevented the spread of all STD's and increased libido and sex drive. However, it was also used to sterilize those who took it, and was how the illness that wiped out the human race was spread.

Garboil

A trash receptacle that turned garbage into oil, which was then used for power and energy.
