French-Engish Translation
http://dictionary.reference.com/translate/
Dictionary.com has a free French-to-English translator, in which you paste or type text into a box and it gives you a word-for-word translation. It will not give you a completely accurate translation, because it merely translates individual words and not idioms, syntax, or sentence structure. With the large amount of French in Villette, this site may be helpful to those who do not read French and would at least like to know the main sense of the conversations that are left untranslated in this novel.
