The last year's race winner Adele Wolfe was invited to the Victor's Ball by Hitler.
A member of a resistance group, Yael is an 18-year-old spy on a mission to kill Hitler. Yael was selected for a cruel science experiment by Nazi scientists when she was in a concentration camp.
Even though the experiment was a failure, it resulted in her being able to alter her physical appearance at will. Her abilities made Yael the ideal choice and the only hope for the resistance group to end the Nazi regime. After several unsuccessful assassination attempts, Hitler no longer appears in public. Yael, however, disguises herself as Adele Wolfe and enters the race to fulfill her ultimate goal.
Ryan Graudin perfectly blends historical fiction and fantasy in this novel and allows the reader to imagine a fictional scenario in which Hitler rules the globe.
