Bess has finished her high school and working in a mall as a security guard. She lives with her gay brother Hal and her aunt Victoria but, she doesn't like her aunt Victoria because she supports Hal more than her. She wants guidance and a mother figure in her life.

Aunt Victoria is the lover of Bess's late mother, and she takes care of Bess and Hal. She has a habit of eating a lot, and due to this, she puts on so much weight that one day she breaks through the porch of her house and gets stuck in there.
Madeline - "The Perfect Lawn"
Madeline is in senior year of her college and a cheerleader. She has been stalking by her classmate Kevin since from the beginning year of her college. Madeline's mother is a drunkard and a chain smoker. She once throws a burning cigarette on the couch that catches fire, that time Kevin sneaks in Madeline's garden and peeks at her room and sees the fire in her room. Kevin saves Madeline by climbing up to her room through the window. She still refuses Kevin's advances and tells him to stay away from her.
