Evaluating Arguments

Objective:
Students will assess some of the arguments presented in the text.

Structure:
This activity complements the “Identifying Arguments” activity from Day 3.
To start the activity, write the following questions on the board: How do you know when an argument is compelling? What strategies do you use when you’re trying to convince someone of something?
