How does Cate change over the course of this scene?
She seems more practical and forceful than she has in previous scenes, and seems more attuned, perhaps, to the reality of what's happening on the street than Ian is. She shows some gentleness and tenderness at the beginning of the scene, but when she returns, she's brusque, using the same style that she did in the second scene. However, she still sees a need to feed Ian, and does so.
