The symbolism of Cordelia’s strength

The Cortana blade symbolizes Cordelia's strength. Whenever Cordelia feels weak, she wields her blade to gain power and efficiency in whatever she does. After Cordelia learns that her father has become the latest victim of mysterious murders, she feels powerless and helpless. However, when she wields her blade, she gains a lot of energy and initiates an investigation to uncover the true killers in these mysterious deaths.

Loyalty

The silver bracelet won by James on his wrist symbolizes loyalty. James received the bracelet from Grace and vowed to remain loyal to her. Despite James having a wedding with Cordelia, his bracelet remains on his wrist to symbolize his loyalty to Grace.

Belial (symbol of death)

Belial is a symbol of death. When Cordial and James discover the tool used in killing her father, they discover that it can direct them to the killer. The tool leads Cordelia and James to Belial, James' grandfather, whom they confirm is a demon involved in the mysterious killings.
