Group Work
Objective:
Students will analyze the different themes and symbolism used in the book and create a visual representation of their work.
Structure:
In this activity, the students will discuss themes and symbolism, examine the specific themes and symbols present in the story, and create storyboards to visually represent these ideas.
Lead the class in a brief discussion of what themes and symbols are. Have the class come up with a definition for each, along with providing a few examples from popular media or other stories read in class.
