Objective:

Students will research and gain a comprehensive understanding of Menelaus, a key figure in the Trojan War.

Structure:

Although Menelaus plays a crucial role in catalyzing the events that would lead us to Electra, there is scant information provided about him in the plays themselves. For this activity, in groups of about 4 or 5 apiece, students will research the life of Menelaus and prepare an informative presentation to be given in front of the class.
