    Epilogue

    Kind of Activity:

    Collaborative Writing

    Objective:

    Students will write an epilogue for the novel.

    Common Core Standards:

    CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.W.9-10.3.B

    Structure:

    The ending of Foe is fairly ambiguous: we can extrapolate a few details from extra-textual details, such as the fact that Susan ultimately relents to Foe's will, resulting in the Robinson Crusoe that we know today, but specific details are sparse. With this in mind, students will break into groups of three and prepare an epilogue for Foe that explores what might have happened to our three main characters.
