Tanimoto's Campaign

Objective:

To engage with Mr. Tanimoto's campaign for a peace memorial (and peace)

Structure:

Using evidence from the text as well as relevant independent research, have students imagine that Mr. Tanimoto has hired them to create a campaign for peace (using present-day technology).

Divide students into groups of 4-6. Have each group create the following for Mr. Tanimoto's campaign:

- A new logo for profile pictures.
- Create icons for different subjects, like the arms race, the attack on Hiroshima, or...
