Mikki Kendall is an author and consultant from Chicago, Illinois. She is a US Army Veteran and graduate of DePaul University and University of Illinois Chicago at Urbana with degrees in History and Writing. Kendall is an acclaimed writer and critic, especially on the topics intersectionality, race, and gender. In addition to her essays being widely published, she has written two books, Amazons, Abolitionists, and Activists: A Graphic History of Women's Fight for Their Rights and most recently Hood Feminism.
