    Because this is a theater piece, I Will Marry When I Want is naturally going to focus a fair bit on its character development (as opposed to other works that may concern themselves more with prose or thematic development). Furthermore, students may not have encountered much non-Western literature, and as such may have a difficult time remembering character names, on account of their lack of familiarity.
