Students will research the religion of the country in which the play takes place.

Structure:

In today's reading, religion comes to the narrative's forefront when Kĩoi, Jezebel, Gĩcaamba, and Njooki arrive. Immediately, the four begin to preach the wonders of Christianity. In this activity, students will research the rise of Christianity in Kenya, and discuss what its contemporary religious picture looks like.
