    How does the new portrayal of Ludmilla in Chapter 7 complicate your previous conclusions about that character?

    Students should refer to the earlier Thought Question and restate their opinion of Ludmilla’s character at that time. They will likely say Ludmilla appeared to be hard to please and fickle. In this chapter, we get a better glimpse of what Ludmilla is like.
