Objective:

Students will be able to discuss COVID-19 related AAPI discrimination and draw connections to parts of Interior Chinatown.

CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.SL.9-10.1

Structure:

As a class, students should watch the following video from a March 2021 episode of PBS News Hour and take notes as they watch. The instructor may pause at any moment that requires reflection. The instructor should also offer as a warning to the class there are some short videos of AAPI harassment shown in this news segment.
