Students will work together to create a short film interpreting one scene of the novel

Structure:
Prior to class, select 4-5 short scenes from the novel that could be easily scripted and performed by small groups.
Divide class into small groups of approximately 4-5 students, depending on class size and the number of actors needed for each scene. Assign each group a scene from the novel, or have groups select their own scenes, which they will read and discuss together....
