Mother Courage and Her Children Lesson Plan

Bringing in Technology

Throughout the study of Mother Courage and Her Children, students with disabilities should have the option of using dictation software for writing assignments, and text-to-speech software for reading assignments, or any other ADA-mandated technological accommodations.

Activities on Day 1, 2, and x require online research.

Day 1's Set Design activity might make use of design software in addition to sketches and models.

The staging activities on Days 2 and 3 might also make use of video-recording technology; Day 3's Re-Mix activity can use audio technology or other forms of media.

The writing activities on Days 4 and 5 might make use of blogs or document-sharing sites.
