Parallelism

Metonymy and Synecdoche
“Time is always fucking me over”, once Norah says. It means that people, who are not punctual and waste their time, irritate her. She hates waiting.
Personification
Music personifies pacification and the desire to create. It is also our life, because the main characters cannot live without music.
