Night Sky with Exit Wounds Lesson Plan

Bringing in Technology

Throughout the study of Night Sky with Exit Wounds, students with disabilities should have the option of using dictation software for writing assignments, and text-to-speech software for reading assignments, or any other ADA-mandated technological accommodations.

Research activities on Day 1 and 2 require internet access. The homework on Day 1 requires students to access some form of streaming service, and on Day 4 students are asked to watch a video in class.

Multiple writing activities (on Days 1, 2, 3, and 5) ask that students be able to publish their work electronically, either on a class blog or a sharing site like Google Docs.
