    Why does Q feel his friendship with Ben is a “friendship of convenience”? Do you agree or disagree? Why?

    Q doesn't seem to always feel this way—it is likely that he is just lashing out in anger. Q believes that Ben, as his friend, should prioritize the same things that Q does (i.e., finding Margo). He considers it selfish for Ben to enjoy his prom, or make new friends. He may feel especially betrayed since Ben is becoming friends with some of the popular kids, whom Q views as enemies.
