We divide the answer to exercise 80 by 365 (the number of days in the year), to find the number of cigarettes smoked per day: $627/365=2$ This does not represent the number of cigarettes smoked by an adult. This includes both smokers and non-smokers. Thus, any given adult will probably either smoke zero cigarettes or far more than two a day.
