Liver- The liver removes toxins from the body system and filters the bacteria from the bloodstream. If not functioning, toxin buildup will occur in the blood and can travel to the brain. This may affect brain function and can lead to disorientation and confusion. Also, bleeding may occur since the liver will fail to produce adequate blood clotting protein. Pancreas- contributes to the digestion and absorption of food breakdown from the digestive tracts and the metabolism of blood sugar. If not functioning, the person may experience symptoms of vitamin and nutrient deficiencies and may also acquire diabetes. Gallbladder- the gallbladder helps in the digestion of fat through the production of bile. If not functioning, bile will not be released and the fat will not be properly digested leading to bloating and chances of having diarrhea.
