Babysitter
The protagonist of this story, who babysits the three Tucker kids. She is also Jack’s girlfriend; her choices are basically what lead to the death of everyone, or prevents it all from happening. She is also the source of lust for many of the male characters in the story including Mark, Jack, Jimmy, and Mr. Tucker. When dealing with everything at once, she kills the baby in two different scenarios; one lets him drown by forgetting she put him in the bathtub. The other, she cuts of his air supply by trying to make him stop crying.
Jack
Jack is the babysitter’s boyfriend who has several different fantasies in this timeline. He is convinced by his friend Mark to go visit his girlfriend and have a threesome, or if that doesn’t work out, to rape her. Jack in the different timelines has three roles, he is her savior from rape by Mr. Tucker in one. In the other, he rapes her along with Mark with the children watching. And in another, he consensually has a threesome with his girlfriend (the babysitter), and his friend Mark. He is easily influenced and seems inexperienced, seeking sexual advice from his friend Mark.
Jimmy & Bitsy Tucker
The Tucker’s children who are being babysat. Jimmy seems to have a child-like crush on his babysitter and throughout the story tends to be the one who gets the closest to the babysitter with her consent. He enjoys frustrating his babysitter and is rebellious yet sweet. Bitsy is the other child of the Tucker’s, she is a rebellious little girl that doesn’t enjoy baths.
Mark
Mark is the cocktail partyhost’s son and Jack’s friend. Mark has a much more forceful and “bad boy” attitude about him with which he influences Jack. He is the master mind of the plan to drop by the Tucker’s home to visit the babysitter and to rape her if she doesn’t consent.
Harry Tucker
The father of the three Tucker children and husband to Dolly Tucker. He goes to a cocktail party hosted by Mark’s parents and seems to be entranced by his babysitter. Once he drinks he continuously fantasizes about his babysitter and ends up going home in which different scenarios occur. The first, he walks in on his babysitter having a threesome with the boys but they fool him into believing it was all innocent. The second he attempts to rape his babysitter and fulfills his fantasy but dies due to actions caused by his drunken stupor. The third, he has sex with the babysitter but gets caught in the action by his wife and many other bystanders.
Dolly Tucker
Mother to all three Tucker children and wife of Harry Tucker. Seems to notice her husband’s enchantment with her babysitter but is constantly kept occupied with her overly tight girdle. At the cocktail party, she goes to the restroom and ends up distracting the whole party by enlisting them in helping her put her girdle back on. This occupies her throughout her husband’s disappearance and in the end she is the one that comes home to a dead family and a crazy house.
