What is your opinion of Jocelyn's character at the close of the novel? How has your opinion evolved while reading? Why?
Strong responses will see Jocelyn's character as nuanced. While her goal of taking down Consilience/Positron is positive, she uses exploitation to achieve her goals. She exploits Charmaine and Stan in treacherous ways, and even though the ultimate result seems alright, her behavior is still unethical. In general, she seems to treat other human beings as commodities that she uses to achieve her goal.
