The Interview: Part 1

Structure:
Divide students into pairs. They should each come up with something that happened to them recently, an incident in their lives about which they could be interviewed. Walk around the room during this portion talking to students and helping them come up with interesting sample incidents — maybe they recently attended a wedding, or were in a play, or went on a trip.
Give the students 25 minutes to interview their partner. Remind them of the 5 Ws of interviewing: Who, What, Where, When,...
