Why does Lord Droon want to get rid of the stilts?
Lord Droon is depicted as being a stuffy, traditional character who does not appreciate the King's need to walk on stilts. He thinks this diminishes the role of the King and seeks to remove the stilts from his life. In a way, Lord Droon wants what he thinks is best for the king and his motivations are not malicious. He thinks the king will become a better ruler if he doesn't engage in such frivolous activities, but this has the opposite effect.
