Students will create a list of the play’s important characters, and the roles they play.

Structure:

Three Sisters (and much of Russian literature in general) can be difficult to delve into at first, due to the fact that there are numerous characters who have a variety of relationships with one another. What’s more, characters frequently call one another by a few different names. As such, it can be difficult to remember who’s who at the play’s outset.
