Eden Ruth Streit
Eden Streit is a 16-year-old daughter of a strict religious father. Eden is lonely, disappointed and pessimistic because she thinks the world revolves around her home. Eden's parents want her to stay at, and she is not allowed to interact with boys. Any interaction with boys is immoral because it goes against the doctrines of religion.
Eden's loneliness and curiosity make her establish a close relationship with a boy from the neighborhood. Eden discovers that having opposite-sex friends is a good experience. However, Eden's family is disappointed in her, and they send her to a religious-approved school for reformation.
